Does anyone have Vista on thier computer? Well, let me give you a warning about Vista and updates. I came in and turned on my computer last Thursday and it said it was installing updates. You know you get that warning, "installing updates, don't turn off or unplug your computer" It was installing 3 updates, was on the first one at 12%. I came back in about 30 minutes later and my screen was all blue, with an info box telling me that the computer could not start. So I went through everything the screen told me and still the computer would not start up. I ran over to my shop and picked up my laptop, (which is slow and old) hooked it up and got online to see what the problem was. Evidently, Vista has had problems with doing too many downloads at one time and it crashes your computer. It can even fry your harddrive. I read different articles about it and some said that you have to put the Vista disk in the computer and see if it will reload onto your computer, only problem is, they didn't give us the disk, when we bought the computer. So, if you have Vista on your computer, make sure it is set to NOT do any downloads without your permission, and only do one download at a time. You can search the web for info on this problem, just type in, "computer won't start after vista installs downloads or updates."
